Description
A largely under valued brand until recent years when the market has exploded and values risen, Enicar has stayed under the radar of most collectors until now.
We’re offering a wonderful example of an Enicar Sherpa 600, Ref: 147-01-07. It has a vignette chocolate dial with gold indices and accents; a pair of straight baton gold hands and quirky orange centre seconds hand. The case has been polished and restored back to have original crisp edges, and retains the original gold capped ‘fluted’ bezel and signed crown.
The movement is a Cal: AR 167, produced around 1970. It’s a gorgeous gold plated, 24 jewel automatic movement, with day-date complication.
As part of our restoration we only replaced the crystal and strap. The case was polished back with the lugs cut back to shape, and the movement overhauled to great condition/timekeeping.
This watch is not perfect, and has lived a tough life requiring lots of TLC, but my gosh is it a fun piece. It brings a smile to your face and pictures don’t do it justice. It’s all things Enicar and is just crackers!
It comes with our service box and paperwork, along with 12 month warranty.
