Description
A mint example of the Omega Seamaster F300, Ref: 198.001. It has the rare slate dial thats as perfect as they get, original white baton hands and arabic date wheel. The case and bracelet has been polished mainly to add the contrast of the brushing back in and truely reflect the beauti of the original finishing, but is sharp and crisp.
The movement is the Cal: 1250, released in 1969 by ESA the original manufacturer. Omega bought the rights to use the movement along with eight other brands and added their signiture rose/copper plating to the movement rebranding it to the 1250 calibre.
As part of our service we didn’t replace any parts and simply serviced the movement and touched up the polishing. The watch has been tested and adjusted to chronometer specifications and hums beautifully like a quality tuning fork movement should.
We love a good tuning fork, not the greatest company on a bed-side table at night, unless you like a constant background humming, but the smooth sweep of the seconds hand is second to none. This example is absolutely gorgeous and all original. It comes with our service box and paperwork, along with 12 month warranty.
